Apple last week invited reporters to a music-related event, stoking
expectations of new players. Some had hoped for new computers as well
as iPods, but that did not happen. But the rise of new DVD to iPod Ripper s relieves most iPod lovers.
Just think about the boss of Apple shows off a good DVD to iPod movie, iPod Touch or iPod Nano video Converter rather than the new iPod demos. Kidding here. Actually, Mr Jobs appeared in front of a screen that flashed “The
reports of my death are greatly exaggerated” – a quotation borrowed
from Mark Twain.

Nobody would deny
that Apple dominated personal digital music players, with nearly
three-quarters of the US market in July, while even Mr Jobs would admit
that as for the iPod movie markets, a few DVD to iPod Video Software
Companies such as PQDVD Software , Avex DVD to iPod Converter software are taking up the main market.

Even so, the company faces consumers jittery in the face of a
sluggish economy. Mr Jobs himself was mostly optimistic about Apple’s
position in the economy.

“I’m not an economist, I don’t know if it’s going to get better or
worse, but I think Apple’s faring reasonably well,” he said on CNBC
after the event.
On the other hand, in
anticipation of Apple’s plan to revamp its iPod range for the year-end
holiday season, Microsoft also announced changes to its rival Zune
music player. This may remind people of the necessity of a DVD to Zune Converter in light of its capability to play converted DVDs on Zunes.

The Zune line-up is being expanded to include devices with 16GB of
flash memory selling for about $US200 each and a $US250 model with a
hard drive offering 120GB of memory. Free software updates will let people instantly buy songs they hear
on the player’s built-in FM radio and wirelessly download music from
the Zune Marketplace without having to connect to computers. For hardcore lovers, you may also care more about DVD to iPod or PPC to DVD Conversion Guide on Youtube.

$US15 a month for “Zune Pass” subscriptions allowing them to download
or stream as much music as they wish.

The new Zune models and features will begin rolling out on September
16, almost two years after Microsoft launched the devices in November
of 2006.

popularity among youngesters, and would like to partner with them to
promote the handheld gadget technology, may they will realize the
